Horribly Hilly HundredsThe Horribly Hilly Hundreds is a bicycle event that starts and ends at Blue Mounds State Park. This is a fundraiser for the Friends of Blue Mound State Park (FBMSP)
For general information about the event: http://www.horriblyhilly.com/ Once voted the "Sufferfest of the Year" by Madison weekly newspaper Isthmus, "The Toughest One-Day Challenge Ride in the Midwest" is not to be missed by serious riders anywhere. Friends of Military Ridge Trail provide a respite station for the bikers at a park in Black Earth. Snacks, energy drinks, and a cool down spray with the hose are offered to hot, tired bikers.
